*James A. Swan, Ph.D. is the author of six popular books published on three continents including: NATURE AS TEACHER AND HEALER (Villard, 1992), named "One of the Best Environmental Books of the Last Five Years" in 1994 and SACRED PLACES (Bear and Co., 1990, Book of the Month Club selection).
